as a teacher we should prepare a lesson plan first which is help we in teaching. Have a lesson plan make we can deliver our knowledge to the students be systematic. this is the example of lesson plan for teaching english (writing skill) to seventh grade

A. Learning Objective
1. The students get an opportunity to read procedure text, the students are able to identify the generic structure of text appropriate with theory that they learn (75%)
2. The students get a topic, students are able to write a procedure text appropriate with theory that they had learn (75%)

B. Teaching Material
1. Description of Procedure text
There are three definition of procedure text:
a. Texts that explain how something works or how to use instruction / operation manuals e.g. how to use the video, the computer, the tape recorder, the photocopier, the fax.
b. Texts that instruct how to do a particular activity e.g. recipes, rules for games, science experiments, road safety rules.
c. Texts that deal with human behavior e.g. how to live happily, how to succeed.
The purpose procedural text is to tell the reader how to do or make something. The information is presented in a logical sequence of events which is broken up into small sequenced steps. These texts are usually written in the present tense. The most common example of a procedural text is a recipe.

2. Characteristic of Procedure Text
Procedure text is to tell the reader how to do or make something, so the reader will be able to do or make something. Writing procedure text, generally, you have to consider the following generic structure:
a. Goal
The tittle of the procedure, generally using in write a recipe. Goal is give information what we need to make or do something.
b. Material
In material is getting things that you need to make an object
c. Steps
A series steps oriented to achieving the Goal or the information about making an object.

3. Writing of Procedure Text
In this sub discussion you will be give step by step processes of writing procedure text. The process of writing procedure text is processed by writing the goal, material and steps, and it can be further describe as follows:
a. Goal : How to make a glass of milk
b. Materials: a glass, two spoonful of powder or liquid milk, hot water
c. Steps: First, boil water. Second, put two spoonful of milk into a glass. Third, put the boiling water into the glass. Fourth, stir well Now, you may enjoy your milk.
The example:
How to make a glass of milk
You need to prepare:
• a glass
• two spoonful of powder or liquid milk
• hot water
After you prepare all materials needed, now use the following steps to make a glass of milk. First, boil water. Second, put two spoonful of milk into a glass. Third, put the boiling water into the glass. Fourth, stir well Now, you may enjoy your milk.

Pre-activity (±5 minutes)
1. Greeting.
2. Checking student’s attendance.
3. Motivating and giving students a general idea of the material that will be discussed.
4. Teacher exposes learning objectives that you want to achieve and the important of study procedure text.

While Activity (±30 minutes)
Exploration
1. Asking the students regarding about what they know about procedure text.
Elaboration
2. Explaining the definition and the generic structure of procedure text.
3. Asking the students to make example of procedure text.
4. Giving the students worksheet to answer the question.
5. Tutoring the students in answering the question.

6. Asking one or two students to make their text in the whiteboard.
7. Correction the text of students together.

Post activity (±5 minutes)
1. Asking the students about their difficulties of the material.
2. Giving homework
